Busy, busy, busy...

Okay, so...not so busy.  Except for Monday and Tuesday.

Monday and Tuesday I helped dad pour cement for a porch thing for a friend of his. I bruised my leg pretty bad when we were spreading stone.

I was SOOOO tired when I got home Tuesday!

In addition to the books I read last week I've also read Dubliners by James Joyce and A Lesson Before Dying by Ernest J. Gaines.  I loved Dubliners.  It was kind f funny, as I was reading the other book, there was a chapter all about the main character hearing about and reading Dubliners.  Next I'm going to be re-reading some of my favorites.

Also, my brother gave me his car.  I have to get 30 day tags and then get a front-end alignment.  It's driveable, but it's really shakey.  A car of my own again.  YAY!

Beware of gas prices though. I hope they go down soon.

This car gets pretty good gas milage. Something like 35-37MPG Hwy... Which is where most of my driving would fall, since I live out in the country.

Your bruise looks like my friend's untreated spider bite, from almost 10 years ago. He got bit by a black widow and did nothing except pour rubbing alcohol on it, the doofus.
