domino43Okay, you can skip this entry if you want, 'cause I don't even know if I'll be able to follow it, and I know what is in my head!
Totally random item #1: Okay, well, I have an interview set up for August 10th for the Uni. It's just for intermittent, like I thought. But that's still 100+ days, under 30 hours a week at $7.03/hr to start. But after 700 hours the pay would go up to $7.30/hr. This should be no problem getting since I worked there for almost 3 years straight when I first started working.
Random item #2: YIPEE!! Okay, I just want to HUG Anita to death right now! Now, I've found out, I'm only 4 degrees away from George and Dhani Harrison TWO different ways! Way 1; Me-> Gary (family friend/dad's old boss)->Derk Cheetwood (actor, U-571, etc. From B.G.)-> Tom Petty (via The Postman)-> George and Dhani Harrison. Way 2; Me-> Anita-> her (half? step? don't remember...)sister -> Olivia Arias (George's wife/Dhani's Mom) -> George and Dhani. HOW FREAKING COOL IS THAT?? Not a big deal to any of you guys, but HUGE for me.! SQUEEEEEEEL!!! (sorry, I'll try to quiet down now...)
Random item #3: Anita mentioned Dennis Wilson in one of her recent posts. This reminded me of my dad's "curse". You see, there are at least 3-4 people that my dad had seen in concert that have died shortly after. He saw the Beach Boys and Dennis died a few months later. He saw Stevie Ray Vaughn, and he died a month or so later. He saw Kid Rock and Joe C. died a few months later (yes, I know, he'd been sick for a long time, but still...). And there was one other person from some band, but I can't remember who or what band right now. I'll have to ask him. Luckilly the curse seems to have been broken, since no one from KISS nor Rick Derringer (who he's seen 3 times) have died. Let'ds hope the streek stays broken. *fingers crossed*
Random item #4: Speaking of concerts... I REALLY need to go to another concert soon. I've only been to 7 in my life. How LAME! KISS, Kittie/Disturbed, Rick Derringer (x2), Sevendust(who we missed, THANK GOD!)/Kid Rock/Ted Nugent/Metallica, KISS/Skid Row/Ted Nugent, and Jethro Tull.
Random item #5: Got Yahoo IM working. YAY! And Dad finally downloaded Java, so I can chat at VFB again. "YAY!" again.
Well, I think that's it for now. I must be off to bed. It's after 5 AM and I really need some sleep.

You're not kidding needing to go to another concert, not just YOU but ME! I've only been to ONE this whole STINKING year! Yeah and hey, I used to be a musician and BEFORE getting married, I used to average at least 8 or more concerts under my belt by THIS TIME! Oy Vey, I need to get out and have MORE FUN, period!
