I got the green ones.

I had $54 in my Amazon account, so I decided that I needed some shoes that weren't steel toed work boots. I originally wanted some blue and yellow sneakers to silently show my love for Boca Juniors, but the pair I had really wanted wasn't available anymore and most of the other ones that were close were either more than $54, or were very close. Since I couldn't get my blue & yellow sneakers, I then decided on some skate shoes. I had a pair of skate shoes several years ago and I loved them. I had some blue and/or teal-ish shoes I really liked. While going through different blu shoes I stumbled on these. I know Puma is a good brand and I as also considering some high tops, so these were pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Luckily for me Endless is currently running a 20% off athletic shoes special, so I got a pair of $42 shoes for $33.

They shipped today and are supposed to be here Thursday. I can't wait. XD

I HAVE A BED AGAIN!! YAY! NO MORE SLEEPING ON A LOW COUCH. NO MORE ROLLING IN ONE SPOT. NO MORE PULLING THE CUSHION OUT FROM UNDER ME WHILE I TURN IN ONE SPOT. I CAN GET SOME ACTUAL SLEEP AGAIN!

Pauly and Corie brought it over from the house for me. I can't wait to sleep on it tonight.


Now, I have a question for you guys.

Should I stay here? Like, move in here? Corie suggested it a couple weeks back. So should I? It would make things easier. There's a car here. And a phone. And the internet. And no Neal. (Remember him? He's the one that bashed my leg with a shotgun butt and dented the bone.) Neal and his GF are living at the house now. I like her fine (much better than his ex-wife), but he's still kind of an a-hole. Part of me wants to go back to the house because then I'd have a big room to myself. I have less room here, but I have all that other stuff. Everyday, a little more of me says to stay here. I'm about 70-30 for here right now. Should I go ahead and have Pauly go pick up the rest of my stuff sometime, or hold of a little longer?

I am having a Star Trek (TOS) Movie Marathon today. I am currently on The Wrath of Khan. This is the best Trek movie ever.

Tomorrow I'll be starting my TNG Marathon, which will promptly followed (or, rather, overlapped at the end) by DS9. Then the TNG movies. And finally NuTrek. I can't wait! It's going to take at least a month, but it will be epic and nerdy and just plain awesome. XD

My dad gave me a little stuffed walrus the day I was born. I kept it for over 20 years. Sometime in all my moves when I was about 22-23, it got misplaced. I don't know if it's still packed away somewhere or if it's lost forever. I wish I knew.

My keyboard works again. It was just some loose solder that my brother accidentally wiggled loose when he changed the power supply.

My old memory in my computer was going bad. Like, I could only run 1 program at a time. And if I started my browser, it would lock up after a few minutes, depending on the site. It was 10 years old, after all. Well, I ordered a 1GB memory a week and a half ago and it finally came today. I put it in, or rather had my brother put it in, a little bit ago. I can use my computer again! YAY! I can now use the internet on my own computer. Maybe I'll be able to start keeping up on LJ again. I've fallen behind since the first of the year.
