Is there something going on internationally the last couple days that I don't know about? It seems like there's no one on the internet. All over LJ, all over boards...nothing. Especially today. What's going on?

I'm sorry Dom, I didn't mean to ignore you. I've got a lot of stuff happening in RL that is taking up a lot of my time.

I don't even really mean that. I'm more... concerned(?) that there's no activity in any of my dozen or so LJ comms. Or any message boards I belong to. It's weird.

I hear you, but it's not just today, my friend.

It makes me wish that I'd just left my LJ as "free" and did not pay for an account. Last year, I had tons of my f-list responding to my posts and posting and now, most have gone over to Facebook, which I don't like as well. Harder to post "really personal" stuff there and most of their "cool gadgets" don't work about 90% of the time, anyhow, which is frustrating.

I've been trying to get more of a "life" away from the computer, myself, of late, as well. I joined Weight Watchers because I am about 125 lbs. overweight, and also am starting to pick out interior paint colors and wallpaper borders because this Spring/Summer we have three rooms to paint; the den, Cassandra's bedroom and the bathroom.

Also, this Spring, we are getting out HUGE pain-in-the-butt Alder cut down and we have to re-landscape the area of the yard that has all but died since the Alder shaded it all too much. Sheesh, the next 6 months or so, I'm going to be busier than a PIG in SHIT! LOL! :)
