<font size=5<~ Chapter 11 ~

Paul and Caitlyn walk to a park near Katorea’s house. They sit down on the grass near a pond and talk for a while. It is beautiful out. The moon is full, it’s warm and there are ducks on the pond.

George and Katorea sit on a bench in the garden. The moon puts a soft glow on all the flowers in the garden and makes the water in the birdbath shine like silver. Unbeknownst to them, Lea and Delia are watching from Katorea’s open bedroom window. They had decided to sleep over that night. Caitlyn would be staying as well, when she came back.

Following a nice conversation, George and Katorea decide to call it a night. It is almost a quarter to one in the morning. After they stand up, George kisses Katorea, passionately. She can’t help but kiss him back. All of a sudden, they hear light sounds that seem to be giggling. They turn to Katorea’s window and see Lea and Delia pull their heads in. George and Katorea laugh.

“Well, I guess we should get going. It’s getting late,” Katorea states.

“Yeah, probably.” They walk to the front. Just as they walk out of the gate to the front yard, they see Paul and Caitlyn saying goodnight. “Shh,” George whispers to Katorea.

“I had a great time, Cait. I’m really glad I got to know you.”

“It was wonderful, Paul. Taking a walk was a superb idea. I had no idea the park would be so lovely on a moonlit night. Thank you for a terrific evening.”

“I’ll call you tomorrow, okay?”

“I’ll be waiting by the phone.” With that they kiss. It is almost as passionate as George and Katorea’s kiss. Of course, Lea and Delia don’t interrupt them.

Paul waits at the door until Caitlyn closes it. He sighs and turns to walk away. Katorea closes the gate door and he looks up. “Oh, hi. How long have you guys been standing there?” Paul asks.

“We just walked through the gate,” Katorea lies.

“Would you like a ride home? We’re leaving now.”

“No, I think I’ll walk. Thanks anyway.”

“Okay. See ya,” Katorea responds. She and George get in her car and leave.

“He likes to walk home when he’s thinking or happy,” George states.

“I’d say he’s a bit of both. I’m glad that worked out. They really seem to have hit it off.”

“At least now I’ll have you all to myself,” George declares. He leans over and kisses her on the cheek.
