We make our own cheese ball for every concieveable holiday. And sometimes just because. It's rel easy. Little bit of cream cheese, worscheshire sauce, some beef lunch meat, maybe some green onions... yummy.
We also make tamales every year. Usually for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It used to be about half a dozen people making them when Grandma was alive and mom and dad were still married. Nowadays it's usually just me and SIL. Or me and dad. It's a chore, but it's well worth it.
