2012 is already looking up

I had my SSI Disability hearing yesterday. I won. The judge said that I'll get a letter in a couple weeks. I imagine I'll get my first check in January. Now I'll be able to get medical. YAY. And I'll be able to pay for my medicine. YAY. Things will be so much easier starting next year. Maybe now I'll be able to go visit some of my C_U BBs! And some of my old Viggo buddies. YAY!

And now I can concentrate on my surgery.

that's wonderful news. I mean, it's terrible that you've become disabled, but it is excellent that the government has recognized that and given you benefits.Good luck with all of this.

Yeah, no one should become disabled at 30 (well, before). But I'm lucky that it only took about 3 years to get my final approval. I think things will be much better since I'll have money and medical. I just have to figure out if they're going to put me on Medicaid or Medicare. I guess I'll find out in the next month or so.
