Only not quite so out there and totally random...
#1: We FINALLY got enough broccoli gathered up in the freezer to make Broccoli Soup. YAY! Do you have ANY idea how hard it's been for me to see that bag full of broccoli EVERY DAY and not eat it??
#2: I feel so BAD! Clayton wanted me to go out and sit at one of the card tables and see if I could sell any of the GAZILLION peppers (banana & jalapeƱo) we have. When I went out there, I noticed a bird hanging from one of the trees in our little grove in the side yard. It looked dead. Well, while I was setting up, it started flapping its wings. Turns out it had used a sting that it found for the nest and had somehow gotten it wrapped around its leg. I guess, when it tried to fly away, it just fell and since birds don't have hands, it couldn't pull itself back up. I got some scissors, but I realized that if I cut it down and just let it fall to the ground, it would probably break it's neck or something and it would die anyway. Well, one of Neal's friends came by and I asked him to help me. He wouldn't hold it, so he was going to hold a box right under it, so it wouldn't fall very far. But when I went to cut the string, I bumped it and the bird started freaking out! I couldn't cut it then, 'cause I probably would have ended up getting its leg or wing or something. Well, when Dad woke up to make supper before he left for work, I asked him to help, but he had too much to do in only a couple hours. So the poor bird is still there. I wish I could have done something. Austin (youngest bro) said he would have held onto it for me, so I think that if its still alive when we wake up, I'm going to have him help me cut it down. I just can't bare the thought that I didn't try to help it at all. I feel TERRIBLE! I don't know HOW I'm going to sleep tonight knowing that poor bird is still hanging there...
#3: ...Okay, I know there was something else, but I can't remember what it was now... MAN, I need to get better sleep.
Okaley-dokely. Night all! I'm off to dreamland, hopefully to have a nice steamy dream of the Vigster...or the Urbanmeister...or maybe Conan, hmmm...haven't surpassed the infamous "Conan dream" yet... There's something to shoot for. (Yeah, that's ALL I need... A reason for my family to laugh at me even more! The first dream about him was so steamy, they STILL laugh about it.)

Date: 2005-07-29 09:18 am (UTC)Yeah, I know. It was a couple years ago after I watched a rerun of the epi with Dana Carvey, John Ritter and Ted Nugent (easily the best epi of Conan EVER!). I had laughed SO hard during that show. And Humor IS my biggest turn on...
Well, that night I had this STEAMY dream about Conan. Dear GOD! It was one of the sexiest dreams I've ever had about ANYONE! Guh! I can still picture the whole thing in my head whenever I think about it. Man, I really wish they'd show that epi again...
