List ten songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they’re not any good, but they must be songs you’re really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your blog along with your ten songs.Tag 10 people to do the same. Or, just do it if you want.
This may be a little difficult, as I haven't really been listening to my own music lately.
1. Nickelback - Rockstar
I just can't hear this song enough lately. One of my fave Nickelback songs. And that says a lot. I love Nickelback.
2. Alizeé - Moi.. Lolita
I don't know French, but I love Alizeé. She's so darn adorable. And this is one of her best songs.
3. Nickelback - Photograph
I have this fantasy of doing my own version of this song. Even though I have no musical ability. And my singing voice is shot after my last sore throat. It just reminds me of myself. Except the not finishing high school and breaking into said school. And the house I grew up in is one story, not two.
4. Alizeé - Gourmandises
My other fave Alizeé song. Just a good song. Not much more to say than that.
5. The Beatles - This Boy
They had to show up on this list somewhere. I love, love, LOVE John's voice in this one. Especially on the "...cryyyy-hyyy-hyyy-hyyyy" part.
6. Pure Prairie League - Amie
My Oldies station has been playing this like crazy since they had that stupid consultant in at the beginning of the year. I cannot resist singing this song whenever I hear it. Even if it's 3am and I'm half asleep. Plus, my dad's gf is named Amy and when he's around I like to sing it "...Maybe longer if I'm Dude" because I'm totally a dork like that.
7. Round Table feat. Nino - Let Me Be With You (Chobits theme)
This song is catchy, there's no way around it.
8. George Harrison - What is life
I just love the way this song opens. And it's just a great song. It's always been one of my fave George songs, Beatles or solo.
9. 1776 (performed by: William Daniels, Howard De Silva, Ken Howard, John Myhers & Rex Robbins) - But, Mr. Adams
1776 has to be one of my fave musicals ever. (Remember my hardcore 1776 phase in October 2005?) It's entertaining AND educational! This is my favorite song from the whole show. I've only sung it in my head recently, but still...
10. B-52s - Rock Lobster
Actually, practically the whole house has been singing this lately. Ok, me and Dad and Brother. Brother is obsessed with the Family Guy when Peter sings it to Cleveland. And Brother and Corie went to Red Lobster last weekend and had rock lobster. We were singing it all day that day. Much fun was had.
