What to do, what to do...
ARGH!
Okay, so it's been confirmed that Conan will be doing a week of shows in Chicago from May 9-12. Okay, I've known this was possible for a while. And Paul had mentioned that he was going to a Con in Chicago at the begining May. So, cool, right. Go with him and catch a show while we're there. Well, unfortunately, his Con is the weekend BEFORE that, 5th-7th.
So going with him is out of the question. But I REALLY want to go. He was kinda looking forward to it too. So, the question is...WTF am I going to do about getting there. I mean, he's already going to be taking the 5th off, so he can't very well take off any other days. Now, if Conan taped on Mondays, and he took the 8th off as well, that would be different. But Conan only does shows Tues-Fri, so that's out of the question.
There are a few people on the Conan boards and communities that plan on going...should I try to catch a ride with one of them? Plus, it would give me an excuse to meet one of them. :p
But then, how to get tickets won't be announced until next Tuesday on the show, so I have a week to figure this thing out. Any suggestions?
